Otis Gibbs

Video: Otis Gibbs

Otis really got into the spirit of the site and suggested our first tracking shot video. We did our best to keep up with him and we hope that this session captures the spontaneity of the performance and sums up Otis’ travelling, folk, Americana sound. What a lovely man!

We filmed this fantastic session with Josephine in a busy Oklahoma in the Northern Quarter. She managed to hush the shop with her soulful tone, and gave us this fantastic performance of her recent single ‘I Think It Was Love’ as heard all over BBC Radio 6 earlier this summer.

However in this space of time, ‘Bombay’ were placed on high rotation on all radio stations and we thought they would be too ‘huge’ for our site. However, they made time for us and performed their single ‘Ivy & Gold’ in the beautiful surroundings of St.Phil’s Church. Amazing!!
