Manchester’s synth pop outfit Swiss Lips have just released their latest video for new track “Danz’.

Filmed around the city of Manchester and featuring some well known locations such as Salford Lads Club and The Manchetser Opera House, the video features an amazing silver haired gentleman dancing his little heart out to Swiss Lips’ masterful pop hooks. Get it seen!

Manchester-based ambient techno duo, Ghosting Season (aka Gavin Miller and Thomas Ragsdal) have released their debut album, ‘The Very Last Of The Saints’ on clubbing icon Sasha’s new label,  Last Night On Earth.

Manchester’s dirt-swinging anti-love heros Louis Barabbas & The Bedlam Six have unveiled their video for ‘Deep Enough’, taken from latest EP, Memoir Noir.

The video, directed by Sleeping State Films. sees Louis Barabbas’ now trademark beard come under attack in a display of self mutilation, and that is not all. Check the video out below!

Shinies have announced a series of tour dates over the next few months, beginning with a performance at Sounds From The Other Festival, before then proceeding with support slots for the likes of Said the Whale, Oberhofer, and Milk Maid. With the release of their debut 7″ single ‘Shola/Pillow Talk’ almost sold out, the band are in good stead to take the summer by storm.

Having been together for less than a year and already building strong support in native Manchester, Doctrines are set for a late June release of their second excellently crafted EP, ‘ZE’, this time through indie-bopping label, Alcopop! and the masters of bespoke packaging AC/Dsleeve.

Doctrines’ infectious brand of raucous, right side of technical indie-pop is on show here on the first track to be released from the EP, Climbing Yggdrasil (Everybody Loves Ray Kay), Which you can stream below, or download for free HERE!

Locked within frontman Jamie Birkett’s brilliant lyrics (seriously, check out the Doctrines Bandcamp for the words to Climbing Yggdrasil) is a futuristic tale of life and love inspired by futurist Raymond Kurzweil, that said, this is still an EP you can lose your shirt to, so don’t scratch the beard too long.

Doctrines will be touring in support of the EPs release, but for now you can enjoy a live session filmed with us at St. Phil’s Church in Salford HERE.

Hailing from Crumpsall, North Manchester, Thomas Long’s Easter have been blowing hats off heads at live shows for the past few years, and now, with the beautiful EP ‘Hob Talk’ under their belt, they have announced the release of debut album, ‘Innocence Man’ on White Box Recordings.

Laden with their characteristic post-rock/ Americana/ noise-rock fusion and given charm and beauty by Long’s poetically introspective lyrics, Innocence Man promises to firmly cement Easter in Manchester’s musical landscape.
