LA FEMME remains an enigma. Hailing from Paris, the group walks the line between erotic avant-pop and lo-fi surf rock. Their music can be flippantly light-hearted or aggressively dark depending on their mood. The one thing is clear though: La Femme is part of the 2010s, a decade that has yet to be written. Their first track called “Sur la Planche’ – On the Board has been described by NME as ” a super-impressive Cure-meets-Tron retread with France Gall vocals and a lovely Libs-esque guitar line at the end”.
FRENCH SOUL PARTY are an indie dance quintet from Huddersfield, UK. Their first track, Greek has been described as “playful, uptempo and clean alternative pop.
G R E A T W A V E S are a new 2 piece that have played a handful of Manchester shows so far: They supported Mystery Jets’ Kai Fish last year at the Deaf Institute. “Drony guitar/keys combo similar to that of HTRK and Sonic Youths fuzzy vocals”. (Hive Magazine)
